An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the friendly, supportive and welcoming team in Ward 1 PRI. Ward 1 primarily cares for medicine for the elderly patients from Perth city locality and also supports a orthogeriatric pathway for patients in Perth & Kinross who have received orthopaedic surgery and require a period of rehabilitation.

Due to the continued development and remodelling of our ward, we are seeking to appoint individuals with the skills and motivation to deliver the highest standard of holistic care to our patients and families.

The ward has a coordinated multi disciplinary team (MDT) approach to care delivery.

The successful candidates will require excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of an inclusive and cohesive multi disciplinary team.

In Ward 1 we firmly believe that staff wellbeing and development is paramount in achieving high standards of patient care. The Ward 1 team is motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic and caring which in turn supports a friendly and happy working environment. A post in Ward 1 will provide you with opportunity for personal and professional development through peer support, structured education and a newly introduced knowledge and skills framework designed to support and enhance knowledge of the newly qualified nurse and that of the more experienced nurse.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC register.
