Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer who is on the cusp of achieving Chartered status for this position however, if you are already Charted, please apply – there is lots of training and support to help you whether that be signing off attributes or practicing for the interview.

As a pivotal member of the civil engineering department, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of projects, from preconstruction drawings through to hand over.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver innovative solutions for various projects
  • Utilise your proficiency in Microdrainage software to develop effective drainage solutions for diverse project requirements.
  • Create detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD, both in 2D and 3D, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct site visits (alongside senior team members) and surveys to gather relevant data and assess project feasibility.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Actively working towards Chartered status with a recognised professional engineering institution.
  • Proven experience with microdrainage software.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience in both 2D and 3D design.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
