Easter Road Stadium – Home of Hibernian FC Support the Matchday Experience

We’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced Matchday Supervisors to join our operations team at Easter Road Stadium.

This is a hands on supervisory role responsible for supporting Matchday Duty Managers in the delivery of hospitality, catering, and premium bar operations across the stadium during Hibernian FC matchdays and a variety of events throughout the year.

Working alongside Matchday Duty Managers, you’ll help lead front line teams and support the wider operations team to ensure hospitality, catering, and bar operations are delivered to the highest standards. You’ll play a key role in maintaining service standards, coordinating staff, and helping to ensure every matchday and event runs smoothly for supporters, guests, and clients.

Working Pattern & Pay

This is a casual, hourly paid position offering flexibility around matchdays and events.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting Matchday Duty Managers in the day to day operation of hospitality, catering, and bar areas.

Assisting with pre event briefings and ensuring team members understand expectations, service standards, and operational procedures.

Supervising bartenders, food & beverage team members, and casual staff throughout events.

Leading by example and maintaining high standards of customer service, professionalism, and presentation.

Supporting the set up and preparation of hospitality lounges, executive suites, bars, and event spaces.

Ensuring service areas are clean, organised, fully stocked, and ready for operation.

Monitoring service flow and supporting teams to deliver efficient service during busy periods.

Assisting with stock replenishment requirements and communicating operational needs to Duty Managers and the Bar & Cellar Coordinator.

Supporting venue opening and closing procedures.

Monitoring staff performance and providing guidance, support, and coaching where required.

Assisting with conferences, meetings, private functions, and non matchday events throughout the year.

Ensuring teams adhere to company procedures, licensing requirements, and venue standards.

Promoting good food safety practices and allergen awareness across all service areas.

Carrying out regular checks of guest facing and back of house areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.

Ensuring fire exits, walkways, and storage areas remain clear, safe, and compliant.

Supporting health & safety procedures and reporting any concerns promptly.

Completing operational and compliance checklists accurately and on time.

What We’re Looking For

Previous supervisory experience within hospitality, catering, bars, events, or customer service environments.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Experience working in fast paced, high volume venues.

Ability to motivate and support teams to deliver excellent service.

Good understanding of food safety, allergen awareness, licensing, and health & safety requirements.

Strong organisational and problem solving skills.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
