The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Workstream Manager to support the delivery of a significant finance change programme within a complex, international organisation.

Working closely with senior finance leaders and programme stakeholders, you will help drive the design and implementation of future-state planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. This role combines transformation delivery, stakeholder management, process improvement and operating model development, offering a unique opportunity to influence how finance supports business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of target operating models across finance planning and performance management processes.
  • Coordinate workstream activities, ensuring deliverables, milestones and dependencies are effectively managed.
  • Gather, document and manage business requirements from a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Drive standardisation and continuous improvement of planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support the implementation of finance systems and enabling technologies.
  • Track and manage risks, issues and interdependencies, escalating where appropriate.
  • Help define and establish performance measures and reporting frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, governance artefacts and operating procedures.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, communications and change management activities.
  • Build strong relationships across finance and wider business functions to support successful programme delivery.

Experience & Skills

We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience within finance transformation, business change, operating model redesign or large-scale programme environments.
  • Strong understanding of planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Experience supporting systems implementations or technology-enabled process change.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • A structured, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing actions, risks, issues and project deliverables within complex environments.
