At our Prestwick Service Centre, we specialise in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft engine nacelle systems and engine components. We are proud to serve a wide range of customers, delivering high-quality, reliable MRO services. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Engineering Team as an Repair/Support Engineer, where you’ll contribute directly to our continued success and industry-leading reputation.

What You Will Do:

  • Compiling component survey reports and designing innovative repair schemes
  • Liaising with subject matter experts based at our headquarters in California
  • Supporting ongoing maintenance activities by providing hands-on engineering input
  • Collaborating with teams across disciplines to maintain quality, efficiency, and safety
  • Applying your knowledge of aero engine nacelles, airframe structures, and composite materials

What You Must Have:

  • A relevant qualification in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (a degree is advantageous) or a similar background in MRB environment is transferable
  • Proven engineering experience, ideally in an MRO or aerospace environment
  • Familiarity with repair design, MRB (Material Review Board), or structural analysis
  • Experience

Experience We Prefer:

While not essential, experience in the following areas would be highly valued:

  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Computer-Aided Design tools such as CATIA v5 and AutoDesk/AutoCAD Composite or metallic material repair techniques
  • Working with airframe structures or aero engine nacelles
  • Technical publications
  • Aircraft regulations
