Geo-environmental Engineer

Location: Glasgow

Salary: 29,000 – 34,000.

This Geoenvironmental Consultancy based in Glasgow, with other 20 years of experience in the industry and over 50 team members, are seeking a driven Geoenvironmental Engineer to join the team on a variety of specialist ground investigation projects. Based in Glasgow, with projects across Scotland and plenty of new and exciting geotechnical and geo-environmental projects to work on, the position offers excellent career progression prosects.

The Geoenvironmental Engineer selected will be:

  • Contributing to and carrying out site investigations.
  • Carrying out contaminated land risk assessments and Phase 1 Desktop Studies.
  • Writing and reviewing technical reports.
  • Recommending and implementing foundation and remediation designs.
  • Liaising closely with clients and supervising investigations.

Therefore the Geoenvironmental Engineer successful in their application will have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant, have a degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering or geotechnical engineering, hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence and live near Glasgow. A full right to work in the UK is also essential.
