School of Medicine / Population Health and Genomics
Part-time 0.57 FTE / Fixed-Term (approx. 4 hours per day Monday-Friday in the mornings), possibility of extension beyond March 2027
Location Based in Lothian area
We are recruiting for a
Project Assistant within our Division of Population Health and Genomics at the School of Medicine. This role is part-time (Mon-Fri, 4 hours per day) based within our Edinburgh team to support the successful delivery of the SHARE programme. This is a fixed-term appointment until 31st March 2027 in the first instance, with a possibility of annual renewal.
Your priorities will include:
- Recruit efficiently to the register and achieve agreed targets.
- Support the Programme Manager in the coordination and administration of SHARE.
- Ensure that all project data is appropriately stored in accordance with University guidelines and legislation.
- Interact with a wide range of people and consent them to the SHARE register.
- Identify outreach opportunities and help coordinate poster/leaflet display/distribution.
- Liaise regularly with other members of the SHARE team.

- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a busy and demanding.

- Exercise high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
