All About You

This role would suit someone who is excited about building a long-term career rather than simply finding their next job.

You’ll ideally have:

• HCPC Registration as a Podiatrist (or be eligible to obtain HCPC registration)
• Newly qualified status or up to approximately two years’ post-registration experience
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• A genuine passion for learning
• A positive, friendly and approachable personality
• A willingness to ask questions and develop
• Pride in delivering excellent patient care
• Eligibility to work in the UK, or the ability to meet Skilled Worker sponsorship requirements

You do not need experience in advanced MSK, biomechanics or diagnostic ultrasound.

What Will You Be Doing?

You’ll begin by managing a varied private podiatry caseload appropriate to your level of experience, including:

• General podiatry
• Nail and skin care
• Corn and callus treatment
• Verruca management
• Ingrowing toenail treatment
• Routine foot care
• Patient education
• Footwear advice

As your confidence grows, you’ll gradually gain exposure to:

• MSK podiatry
• Foot and ankle rehabilitation
• Sports injuries
• Biomechanics
• Orthotic assessment and prescription
• Gait assessment
• Shockwave therapy
• Diagnostic MSK ultrasound
• Advanced foot and ankle assessment

Rather than expecting you to know everything from day one, our client believes in supporting clinicians to develop safely and confidently at a pace that’s right for them.

Working Hours and Environment

This is a full-time employed position, although flexibility is something our client genuinely values.

Ideally, they’d love someone to join around the beginning of 2027, allowing time to plan a structured induction and development programme.

However, they appreciate that everyone’s circumstances are different.

Whether you’re graduating slightly later, completing a notice period or relocating to the Highlands, they’re happy to explore a start date that works for the right person.

Typical clinic hours are:

• Monday to Friday: approximately 8:30am / 9:00am until 5:00pm / 5:30pm
• Around one Saturday morning per month
• No routine evening clinics

The clinic is centrally located in Inverness with excellent reception support, modern facilities and advanced technology throughout.

Driving isn’t essential.
