Hourly Salary range: from £10.00 to £12.71

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team at the MILNATHORT Country Store. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about serving and supporting the Rural and Agricultural industry and who wants to assist with the day-to-day running of the country store alongside an established team, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and standards are achieved.

Responsibilities

To organise the warehouse and yard, plus the arrivals and despatches of goods, covering the following key areas:

  • Actively supports other team members to ensure targets and tasks are completed
  • Consistently achieves personal targets and assists team members to achieve team success
  • Delivers good working relationships with all team members
  • Promotes the business and work to a required standard
  • Follows company procedures to complete major tasks without assistance
  • Works to get routine daily tasks done in time and to the standard required
  • Follows through customer enquiries, requests and problems and deals with them promptly
  • Confidently deals with customer problems and is able to establish customer needs
  • Identifies with customers and understands their needs and priorities
  • To ensure all policies and procedures in respect of Health, Safety and Environment are adhered to, in order to provide a safe and secure environment for self, staff and customers
  • To be aware of the risks in the work environment and their potential impact on self, colleagues, customers and visitors and take action to address them
  • To attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills
  • To assist in maintaining the UFAS and FIAS Merchant Schemes accreditation

Qualifications and experience

  • Commitment to continually improving warehouse and yard areas
  • Qualified Forklift Truck Driver with experience in loading and unloading vehicles
  • Full UK driving licence to assist in van deliveries to customers
