Connect Appointments is recruiting Warehouse Operations Assistants to join an established logistics business based in Bathgate on the back shift team, on a full-time temporary ongoing basis with the opportunity for permanent employment.
Our client operates a busy distribution facility, offering back shift work with full training, PPE and immediate starts available.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
- 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis
- Working hours are 12pm to between 7pm and 8pm
- £12.90 per hour, paid weekly
- Full training provided
Note: This role is based in a low-temperature environment – full PPE is provided.
As a Warehouse Operations Assistant, your duties will include:
- Using mechanical handling equipment (MHE) to move stock safely
- Handling incoming deliveries and goods-in processes
- Loading and unloading goods in storage areas
- Performing basic administrative tasks related to bookings and goods-in records
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift
To be considered as a Warehouse Operations Assistant, you will need:
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- Experience with proof of delivery processes and working with external suppliers is welcome but not essential
