Mechanical Technician – Training & Development Path

Job Description

Mylar Specialty Films is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician at the Dumfries site to maintain production equipment and maximise uptime. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday days, with potential longer shifts including 12-hour days, nights and weekend work.

Applicants should have completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment and experience with pumps, fans, gearboxes, bearings, valves, pneumatics,
