Job Description: Quality Assurance Analyst
Purpose of the role
To determine, negotiate and agree on internal quality procedures, service standards and specifications to improve performance and quality of banking operations.
Accountabilities
- Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in quality assurance services.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate quality assurance processes.
- Develop and govern internal quality assurance procedures, standards and specifications, acting as a catalyst for change, mitigating risks and maintaining efficient operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations on quality assurance performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in quality assurance processes, offering feedback and coaching to colleagues.
- Execute service quality assessments to monitor quality objectives set by the bank and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve quality assurance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Determine risk based on the outcome of QA reviews, flagging risks outside of tolerance.

- Serve as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function, building a network of contacts within and beyond the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Strong experience in Financial Crime, with a solid understanding of associated processes and controls.
- Proven experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance environments.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and reporting.
- Proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver high quality outputs.
- ICA qualification (or equivalent) highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail, capable of identifying gaps and driving continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders.
