Job Description

Personal Assistant / Support Worker – Enable (Cherrywood Service)

38 hour and 30 hour contracts available.

Mixture of early and back shifts, with some overnight support shifts.

• 07:15 – 14:45
• 14:15 – 21:45

£13.45 hourly rate.

Manual driver licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
• Help expand their social networks and connections.
• Support individuals in attending appointments, shopping, events, short breaks and in house activities such as movie nights, baking, arts & crafts, and sensory room sessions.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspiration of each person supported.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt communication style to develop successful and enjoyable relationships with those supported.
• Commitment to work with individuals through personal support plans to achieve goals and celebrate successes.
• Positive and flexible outlook, able to work independently and as part of a team.
