Process Improvement Manager (Finance) – 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Role Details

Salary: As per range. Location: Edinburgh, New Uberior House. Hours: Full time. Working Pattern: Hybrid – at least two days per week (40%) at an office site.

About this Opportunity

This role is within the Group Cost Management team. You will drive large process improvement initiatives through collaboration with Finance SMEs across Group Cost Management and the wider Finance teams, partnering with Finance colleagues to simplify processes, solve complex challenges and deliver smarter ways of working. Using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile and Change Management approaches, you will help turn ideas into meaningful outcomes that make a real difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Uncover, understand and deliver Process Improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a single point of contact throughout delivery of BAU and account for the approach.
  • Lead the project team to understand and document processes, customer views, identify and validate problems and waste, and agree the most appropriate opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and enable Power Apps and AI solutions such as Power BI, Power Automate and Agents.
  • Collaborate to identify solutions and agree the best way forward with SMEs and suppliers.
  • Track delivery of improvement projects, manage plans, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Engage Group Cost Management in Process Improvement through participation, infrastructure, communications, recognition and skill development.
  • Share Process Improvement knowledge across Finance and build skills in others.

Required Experience and Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience identifying and delivering process improvements or change initiatives via Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Agile or Change Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Finance.
  • At least 12 months of experience developing Power Apps or AI solutions such as Power Automate or Agents.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience driving cultural change and/or capability uplift (preferred).
