Job Description

Retail Assistant – Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

Position: PTRA. Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week. Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour depending on age. Holiday: 6 weeks per year.

Location: Hunters Bridge Road, Galashiels. Minimum 16 hours per week, including weekday evenings, Saturday and Sunday all day.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with a friendly smile and greeting.
  • Assist customers in locating products.
  • Provide fast and friendly service at tills, including packing assistance and courteous exit.
  • Handle stock and deliveries, placing items into freezers and shelves.
  • Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

  • Reliable and dependable, performing consistently on each shift.
  • Flexible with shift times; able to cover for teammates when needed.
