Responsibilities
- Provide an efficient Health Records service to patients, medical and nursing staff, delivering comprehensive clerical and administrative support.
- Ensure patient appointments for clinics, day cases and inpatient admissions are administered and processed accurately, while maintaining the confidentiality of health records and ensuring they are securely stored and available when required.
Qualifications
- Have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If you are not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before commencing work.
- Meet the criminal record check requirements in place from 1 April 2025. The role may be classified as a regulated role, subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. For further details, reference the Disclosure Scotland Changes.
