- D1 Licence Holder: £33,121 per year
- C1 Licence Holders: Starting salary of £27,687.71 per year
- Hourly Rates: Starting at £14.01/hr, with a £2.75/hr premium for D Licence duties

The Role: Impact Your Community
Based out of our Bellshill hub (ideally located for those in North Lanarkshire or commuting from Glasgow), you will play a vital role in the Scottish Justice System.
Your Day-to-Day
- Safe Transit: Transport prisoners between courts, police stations, and prisons throughout the Glasgow and Lanarkshire regions
- Welfare & Security: Ensure the dignity, care, and safety of individuals in your custody
- Professional Liaison: Work closely with police and court authorities, managing essential risk assessments and legal documentation
- Internal Growth: We prioritize internal promotion-many of our current managers started as Custody Officers at this very base
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need prior experience in the justice sector-we provide full, comprehensive training. We are looking for:
- Driving Credentials: A full UK Driver’s Licence is essential. (Please highlight if you already hold a Category C1 or D licence)
- Reliability: A trustworthy individual who takes pride in a stable, essential role
- Communication: The ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in a fast paced environment
- Fitness: A basic level of physical fitness and flexibility to meet safety requirements
