Based out of our Perth hub, you will play a vital role in the Scottish Justice System.

Your Day-to-Day: Prisoner Custody Officer (Driver) – Perth, Perthshire

  • Safe Transit: Transport prisoners between courts, police stations, and prisons throughout the Glasgow and Lanarkshire regions
  • Welfare & Security: Ensure the dignity, care, and safety of individuals in your custody
  • Professional Liaison: Work closely with police and court authorities, managing essential risk assessments and legal documentation
  • Internal Growth: We prioritize internal promotion-many of our current managers started as Custody Officers at this very base

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need prior experience in the justice sector-we provide full, comprehensive training. We are looking for:

  • Driving Credentials: A full UK Driver’s Licence is essential (highlight if you already hold a Category C1 or D licence)
  • Reliability: A trustworthy individual who takes pride in a stable, essential role
  • Communication: The ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in a fast-paced environment
  • Fitness: A basic level of physical fitness and flexibility to meet safety requirements
