Role
Personal Assistant (Support Worker) for Stephen, 14 hours per week, 11 am to 6 pm shift (flexible). Female driver with manual licence required. Hourly rate £13.45.
About the Person Supported
Stephen is an active, sociable young man who values independence, enjoys sports, music, and volunteers at adult social clubs. He requires support to maintain his tenancy and engage in activities.
Responsibilities
- Build warm, genuine, friendly relationships with Stephen.
- Support his independence while recognising when he needs assistance with daily home routines.
- Drive his Motability car confidently.
- Join him in activities, such as football, horse riding, attending clubs, and sharing his hobbies.
- Encourage and support an active lifestyle.
- Help him stay connected, organised and in control of his life.
- Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support as required.
Qualifications / Desired Attributes
- Friendly and reliable.
- Punctual.
- Comfortable supporting someone with a busy lifestyle.
- Confident driver of a manual car.
- Respectful and person-centred.
Compensation & Hours
Hourly rate: £13.45. 14 hours per week, typical shift 11 am to 6 pm (flexible to suit Stephen’s needs).
