Job Title: Event Designer
Location: Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh, 20A Inverleith Row, Edinburgh, EH3 5NZ
Salary: £28,000.00 + Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week; 5 over 7 days with some evening and weekend working

We’re looking for an organised, detail-driven individual, whether you’re a recent graduate or bring a strong administrative background and are eager to grow in the events industry.
In this entry level role, you’ll support the planning and delivery of small to medium sized events, ensuring every detail is handled with professionalism and care. You’ll play a key part in pricing, coordinating, and communicating event requirements, while maintaining high service standards and contributing to commercial success.

Responsibilities
- Ensure venue budgetary targets remain a key focus.
- Maintain high standards in all event planning.
- Responsible for invoicing and prepayments.
- Utilise system for pricing and planning events.
- Work as part of the Operational team as and when the business requires.
- Build relationships with key Client Principals within each venue.
- Act as an ambassador for the Heritage Portfolio team, both internally and externally.
- Conduct day to day business in an appropriate manner and within agreed contractual terms.
