Job Description

Role Overview

Senior Clinical Fellow – Neurosurgery at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Shift pattern: Mon – Fri 9:00 – 17:00 plus on call. Fixed term: 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of ward based and clinic based activities.
  • Assist with access to theatres to develop surgical skills.
  • Participate in a 16 person trainee rota for out of hours cover.
  • Work with assigned clinical appraisers to support professional development.

Qualifications

  • Completed a UK foundation programme within the past 3.5 years.
  • If the above is not met, the applicant may be required to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST) completed by a consultant with a minimum of three months continuous whole time equivalent within that period.
