Job Description

Overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner on a long-term locum basis to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team at Parkgrove Medical Practice. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a proven track record of applying sound decision-making skills to assess, diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out clinical assessments
  • Initiating investigations
  • Formulating management plans
  • Undertaking appropriate interventions
  • Non-medical prescribing

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
  • Degree-level nursing qualification
  • Current NMC registration
  • Evidence of highly developed specialist knowledge to Masters equivalent level with significant comprehensive post registration experience
  • Proven ability to apply sound decision-making skills in assessing, diagnosing and treating medical conditions

Benefits

Up to 10 locum sessions per week with session payments to be discussed.
