Job Description
Search Consultancy have fantastic opportunities for ADT Operators to work with some of our valued clients in Peterhead and surrounding areas. These are temporary roles, however we have ongoing work for interested candidates and can offer great benefits such as various payment types and a referral scheme.
Duties to include:
- Operate articulated dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, sand, and rock across job sites
- Perform pre-start and post-operation inspections (fluids, tires, brakes, hydraulics)
- Safely load and unload materials while maintaining load stability
- Navigate uneven terrain, slopes, and confined construction areas
- Follow site traffic management plans and safety regulations
- Communicate with site supervisors, excavator operators, and other team members via radio/hand signals
- Monitor truck performance and report faults or maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain production targets while ensuring safe operation at all times
- Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Adhere to environmental regulations (dust control, spill prevention)
- Conduct daily equipment checks (fuel, oil, water, drum condition)
- Follow site plans, levels, and compaction specification
Requirements:
- NPORS/CPCS Card required
- SEQOHS Medical
- Good attention to detail
- Full PPE
Location and hours:
- Peterhead
- Monday – Friday 11-12hr days
- Weekends & Overtime available
Payment:
- PAY RATE NEGOTIABLE
- CIS,PAYE and UMBRELLA
- Weekly payment
