ICT Technician – Tynecastle High School
Salary: £29,173 – £33,287 per year (pro rata for part time and sessional). Hours: 16 per week, 39 weeks sessional. Monday and Tuesday.
Overview
We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to make a positive difference to the ICT support delivered to pupils and staff at Tynecastle High School. The school currently has an ICT Technician in place 2 days a week and the successful candidate will job-share the role to provide a high level of support to our busy and thriving school environment.

Key Requirements
- This is a regulated post with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check within the first year of employment.
- Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
- Pre-employment checks will be deemed satisfactory before commencement of the post.
