Electrician – Temporary

Job Description

Our client is seeking a fully qualified Electrician, preferably with experience in Voids unoccupied properties carrying out full rewires, fuse boards changes and monitoring of ventilation upgrades/systems. You will be working on domestic and social housing properties on a temporary assignment for up to 3-4 weeks, maybe longer.

Start date – March – ASAP for up to 4 weeks’ work.

Location – covering social housing and domestic unoccupied/Voids properties in Newport and the surrounding areas.

Must have own van, pay for your own fuel to jobs and have your own tools.

Hours – 8 am-4 pm – Monday to Friday

Pay – Up to £28.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Full rewires , ventilation and aco monitoring systems (damp & moisture).
• Working in mainly voids/unoccupied properties
• Some reactive works potentially.
• Excellent attention to detail and a team player
• Various lighting upgrades
• Extractor fan replacements.
• Test and inspection

Requirements

• Experience with domestic properties (Ideally 6-7 years)
• Experience with full rewire installations and Ventilation systems.

• NVQ Level 3
• 18th Edition
• AM2
• 2391
• CSCS OR ECS Card
