Job Description
A great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor is now available to join a well-established Main Contractor based in Tayside. You will be joining a company who have built an excellent reputation across the industry on a variety of construction projects over many successful years. This role would either suit a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor or an established Quantity Surveyor who is looking for the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope.
- Ensure every projects is delivered on time and within budget.
- Liaise with Commercial/ Project Management.
- Ensure accurate costs and resolve any issues when necessary.
- Produce and maintain up to date records.
- Visit sites.
- Analyse subcontractor quotations and compile subcontractor orders for approval.
- Act as a mentor for Junior Quantity Surveyors.
- Carry out forecasts and keep management teams up to date.
Education & Requirements:
- Hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying or related industry subject.
- Demonstrate experience within a Quantity Surveying role.
- Able to work in a team and individually.
- Have good communication skills.
