Job Description
Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently requiring a Mechanical Fitter to work on a range of water treatment works in and around South Lanarkshire.
Ideally starting on Monday 1st Decemeber, the mechanical fitter will carry out repair and maintenance work across multiple water treatment sites in the South Lanarkshire area. This is a mobile role working on pumps, valves, pipework, and general mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical repairs, maintenance, and installations on water treatment assets

Planned and reactive maintenance

Fault finding and problem solving

Completing job sheets and following site H&S procedures
Requirements:

Time-served Mechanical Fitter or equivalent qualification

Industrial maintenance experience (water sector preferred)
-
Valid CSCS card
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Strong understanding of pumps, valves, and rotating machinery

Good H&S awareness
