General Operative, Newbridge, Day Shift, Full Time Ongoing Work, 13 per hour
We’re looking for reliable and hardworking General Operatives to join a leading precast concrete manufacturer in Newbridge, Edinburgh. This is a full-time, long-term position offering steady day shifts, excellent training, and genuine opportunities for progression.
If you’ve worked as a Production Operative, Machine Operative, Manufacturing Operative, or Construction Labourer, this role offers the chance to develop your skills in a busy, well-established production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the production of precast concrete products.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of concrete moulds and tools.
- Pour, level, and finish concrete to precise quality standards.
- Load and unload materials manually or with the use of lifting equipment.
- Support production, warehouse, and yard operations as part of a team.
- Follow health & safety procedures to maintain a clean, efficient work environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, warehouse, or yard-based roles.
- Confidence using hand tools, machinery, or production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
- A good level of physical fitness for manual work.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and progress.
