Pertemps are delighted to be supporting our esteemed client in the recruitment of a Yard Operative in Climpy.
Location: Climpy (ML11)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: 13.80 per hour
Overtime will be available, paid at time and a half/ double time
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Winter hours: 6am-3.45pm
Summer hours: 7am-4.45pm
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of mats and other materials
- General yard duties including housekeeping and organisation
- Assisting with the movement and storage of stock within the yard
- Operating basic yard equipment in a safe manner
- Following site health & safety procedures at all times
- Supporting wider yard operations as required
Essential Skills:
- Previous yard operative experience preferable but not essential
- Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and carrying.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Good teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
