CRS are assisting our Plant Hire client in sourcing a full time Workshop Supervisor to join the team and oversee daily operations at the depot based in the Falkirk area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of the workshop, plant, fitters and processes, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Our Supervisor will be responsible for various duties relating to various ancillary and heavy plant equipment.

The position will be predominately workshop based, however there may be a requirement for some site-based work.

Workshop Supervisor duties will include:

  • Co-ordinating the maintenance schedules of the various items of plant and machinery.
  • Conducting regular servicing of plant and equipment in the workshop (site servicing may also be required).
  • Ensuring Health and Safety compliance throughout the workshop and surrounding areas.
  • Maintaining plant and equipment records.
  • Assist with telephone requests from Sites and prioritise call outs to breakdowns.

Workshop Supervisor requirements:

Applicants must be qualified / time served in a mechinal maintenance discipline, worked in a similar role and have a thorough knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, including Engine Diagnostics, Hydraulics and Electrical systems.

Must have previous experience of a Supervisory role.

Experience in repair and maintenance of Excavators and Diggers is highly desired to be considered.

(Up to 80 machines of various sizes.)

Manufacturer experience desired:

  • JCB
  • Case
  • Komatsu
  • Doosan
  • Caterpillar

Applicants must also hold:

  • A valid CSCS card (or equivalent).
  • A full UK Driving Licence.

Hours of work:

7.30am to 5.30pm

Mon to Friday

Overtime is not compulsory but available.

A company vehicle is provided as part of the package
