We are seeking a Workshop Manager to lead our workshop team at the Arbroath Depot, ensuring all buses are clean, safe, and reliable. The role involves managing a team of engineers and support staff, maintaining high maintenance standards, and collaborating with the Operations Department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workshop operations and ensure all maintenance work is completed to the highest standards.
- Manage and motivate a team of engineers and support staff.
- Ensure buses are clean, safe, and reliable for daily service.
- Coordinate with Operations to meet PVR targets.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and inspections.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop performance.
Qualifications
- Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in a workshop supervisory role.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and knowledge of PCV operations.
- Strong leadership and staff motivational skills.
- Energy and enthusiasm to meet maintenance targets and high standards.
