Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of wireless mesh and TETRA-based systems
- Support programming and validation of mesh units and IoT devices
- Carry out site installations including mounting, cabling, and system setup
- Work alongside senior engineers on national and regional projects
- Gain exposure to major projects including prison comms and IoT deployments
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Aptitude and enthusiasm to learn new technologies
- Basic knowledge of wireless and IP networking
- Practical ability to carry out installation work (e.g. tools, mounting, cabling)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
Nice to Have
- Exposure to radio systems (TETRA, DMR, Hytera, Motorola, Icom etc.)
- Previous installation or commissioning experience in telecoms or IoT
