Job Description

MIG Welder, up to 19.50 ph DOE, 13 Week Contract with perm potential, Workshop Based

Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding aluminium plates and structural components
  • Fabricating components used in pylons and substations
  • Working from engineering drawings to produce accurate welds
  • Working to specified tolerances and quality standards
  • Supporting the production and fabrication of infrastructure components
  • Maintaining a safe, organised workshop environment
  • Carrying out additional duties as required to support the team

Requirements:

  • Proven aluminium welding experience
  • Strong MIG welding skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • TIG welding experience (desirable)
