Waste Transfer & Recycling Centre Operator

Job Description

Recycling & Waste Services is recruiting a Waste Operative (D) at Whitehill Service Centre in Bathgate. The role involves safely operating plant and equipment at the Waste Transfer Station and Commercial Recycling Centre, and working 7am-7pm on a 14-in-28 shift pattern with a 12.5% shift allowance.

You will assist and direct colleagues in segregating materials, act as a reversing assistant in a safety-critical environment, and perform general site duties such as litter picking and loading waste.
