Job Description

Warehouse Storeman / Forklift Driver


Location: West of Edinburgh


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm


Pay Rate: £13.13 per hour


Contract: Temporary ongoing, with the possibility of temp-to-perm


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Storeman / Forklift Driver to join a busy and well organised depot based in the West of Edinburgh.


Key Responsibilities


  • Accurately and efficiently picking pallets and parcels for shipment


  • Ensuring all items are packaged in the correct area, ready to be checked and wrapped


  • Receiving and recording deliveries of stock


  • Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift


  • Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and tidy


  • Assisting customers collecting goods from the depot in a professional and helpful manner


  • Working collaboratively with warehouse and office teams


  • Communicating effectively with drivers, supervisors, and customers


  • Following all health & safety procedures at all times



Requirements


  • Previous forklift experience is essential


  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence (dated within the last 3 years)


  • Good communication skills and a strong team working attitude


  • Reliable, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
