Job Description
Our reputable client are URGENTLY looking for a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE to join their well established team.
Reporting in to the Warehouse manager, you will be a key team player in all Warehouse activities and Operations. Your key duties will include:
- Carry out all duties in accordance with company documented procedures.
- Ensure the warehouse is always kept to a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness paying particular attention to the beginning of the day.
- Ensure that goods are stored in stock rotation order – all older stock to be used first.
- Carry out picking of orders as advised by the Warehouse Team Leader.
- Carry out visual QC Checks as required.
- Check orders picked by other staff for accuracy.
- Pack customer orders appropriate to the product being despatched.
- Re-packing of product to appropriate containers as required.
- Ensure any damaged stock is quarantined and advised to the Warehouse Team Leader.
- Carry out stock checks as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader.
- Any other duties within the title holder’s capabilities as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader.
To be suitable for this fast-paced and challenging role you will have the following key skills and experience:
- Experience working in a warehouse related environment is preferred
- Teamworking skills
- Excellent time keeping and attendance
- Accuracy, speed and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office IT Skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A flexible approach to work
- The ability to carry out physical work for long periods of time
- Willingness to learn and be given direction.
- Health and Safety aware.
This is a permanent full-time role and will be working Mon-Friday 730-5pm. You will receive a salary of 28500 – 32,000 pa ( Depending on experience ) , excellent benefits , training and development.
