Job Description

Reporting into the Shift Leader, looking after Goods Receiving, storing, picking & packing and distributing goods internally to achieve short- and long-term goals and KPI’s.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with Warehouse to ensure stock levels are constantly monitored in line with Days on Hand data, minimum/maximum stock levels are adhered to, and targets and applicable business KPI’s are met
  • Reviews material waste and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly
  • Reviews deadstock and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly
  • Responsible for keeping all ordering activities in line with unit finance regulations and audit criteria
  • Communicates with internal & external customers on irregularities and ensures GG Suppliers are performing to high standards with the support of Procurement

Qualifications: Education:

  • GCSE level or equivalent/High School Diploma or GED required
  • Certification in food safety and/or sanitation preferred

Work Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • A forklift truck license and/or license to drive assisted lift equipment is preferable
  • Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling and aviation security
  • Must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with warehousing, production etc
  • Previous experience in materials management and control supporting Make & Pack / Pick & Pack / Wash & Pack, managing inventories and interfacing with various functional areas
