Warehouse and Yard Supervisor

Lead teams that ensure efficient delivery and operational excellence in a warehouse and yard environment.

Responsibilities

Facilitate transactions, manage materials, and oversee warehouse and logistics operations.
Ensure efficient processing, handling, and delivery of parts and equipment in line with service agreements and customer expectations.
Coordinate logistics and shipping processes, including purchasing, receiving, and shipping activities.
Manage productivity, process quality, and warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations.
Drive reduction of controllable expenses, including VCP and contract labor spend.
Ensure warehouse operations meet customer requirements, including managing contract labor workforce scope.
Coordinate communication between project managers, global supply chain teams, and logistics vendors.
Support strategic planning of logistics for each project to ensure successful delivery.
Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining safety and customer service standards.
Support departmental operational planning and suggest improvements in products, processes, and procedures.
Plan activities and address operational needs with business unit stakeholders.
Apply standardized processes and guidelines with flexibility in planning and execution where appropriate.
Manage operations within predefined contracts and frameworks, with some latitude for deviation when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least four years of experience in Services.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
Ability to work independently and manage operational priorities.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to coordinate operations across warehouse, logistics, and supply chain functions.
