Job Description
Warehouse and Operations Coordinator – UK based offshore windfarm developer.
Responsibilities
Work with the SOV Operations Coordinator, Stores Manager and Senior Technician to maintain and execute operational procedures and processes, ensuring timely receipt, shipment, tracking, and allocation of all parts, consumables, tools, PPE, and waste.
Maintain inventory, tool, certification & calibration, PPE and waste management flows, including segregation, identification and storage onboard the vessel, and controlled demobilisation to shore-side receptacles.
Maintain clear communication channels and points of contact between the offshore team, the SOV back office, and the shore-based fleet team.
Support stock adjustment processes, PPE and tooling requirements, certification & calibration, ad-hoc parts requests, troubleshooting and quality checks/queries.
Present service kits at wind turbine generators (WTG) for technicians to quality and time them, and maintain on-vessel stores to support scheduled work and safe mobilisation of the technical team.
Ensure 100% accounting for waste and product returns, and full allocation of parts, tools and consumables in CMMS and Toolbox talks and pre-work briefs to avoid ambiguity.
Qualifications / Requirements
- GWO – Advanced First Aid, Sea Survival, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness
- Slinger/Signaller certification
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Experience in SAP Materials Management and stock control
- Ability to travel and work in Germany (no visa required as working outside 12NW territorial limits)
- Ideally experience using SCADA or turbine control systems
