Overview
Penumbra 365 Service in Aberdeen city is a single point of access for people aged 18 and over who are seeking support with mental health, wellbeing, or distress. As a volunteer, you will join a welcoming team that provides time and space for people to talk through their needs and explore available options, ensuring there is no wrong door to support. This opportunity is suitable for individuals with a positive attitude who want to contribute to promoting good mental health and wellbeing in the community.
Responsibilities
- Support a range of service activities, including Workshops on Wellbeing.
- Use your local knowledge, communication skills, and flexibility to promote the service across communities in the city.
- Work as part of the Welcome Team to help people access the support they need and explore options.
Qualifications
- No previous experience required; positive attitude and a commitment to promoting good mental health and wellbeing.
- Ability to use local knowledge, communicate effectively, and be flexible in supporting diverse community needs.
- Right to work in the UK, or be in the process to obtain it, as applicable.
