Job Title: Videographer & Video Editor

Location: Glasgow City centre

Hours: Full-time 40hrs pw

Salary: £33,000

The Opportunity

We are looking for a creative and driven Videographer & Video Editor to join our in-house marketing team in Glasgow.

This is a hands on role where you will take ownership of planning, filming and editing high quality video content across multiple brands within the Optical Express Group which includes the Moulsdale Foundation Museum where automotive filming experience will be essential. You will create engaging multimedia content for digital platforms, internal communications and broadcast campaigns.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning, shooting and editing video content for:
    • Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok
    • Social media campaigns
    • Internal communications
  • Travelling to clinics and events across the UK (and occasionally internationally)
  • Filming patient testimonials, clinical content, corporate messaging and event coverage
  • Editing and producing multimedia content (video and audio)
  • Managing digital assets and maintaining organised file systems
  • Working closely with the wider marketing team to deliver campaign objectives
  • 40 hours across 7 days with regular evening and weekend work

What We’re Looking For Experience & Technical Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar videography / video production role
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Experience filming with:
    • DSLR / mirrorless cameras (Sony, Canon, Nikon or similar)
    • GoPro
    • Sliders, gimbals and stabilisation systems
    • Professional sound recording equipment
  • Desirable to have experience creating video content within the automotive sector
  • Basic photography experience (studio or event)
  • Valid UK driving licence

  • Comfortable interacting with patients, clinicians and corporate stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong file management skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Adaptable and solution-focused
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently

A relevant degree or professional qualification is desirable but not essential if supported by a strong portfolio.
