Vehicle Paint Technician

Job Description

Kenect Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Paint Technician.

This role will be to assist in the daily production of the Bodyshop department in order to achieve production figures, and produce high quality vehicles in line with Customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Paint preparation of vehicle – masking and prepping if required
• Spray painting, using water based paints
• Inspection – checking paint colour, prepping spray out cards to ensure perfect match
• Maintenance of spray equipment and cleaning of work areas
• Supporting bodyshop team

Knowledge and Skills

• Must have previous Bodyshop/Paint spray experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexible to support Junior techs and offer support and guidance
• Working to a high standard of work
• Passion and motivation for the motor industry
• Experience working independently to make decisions when required
• Excellent attention to detail Working
• Monday to Friday 07.30 – 15.30 – Overtime available on weekends
