Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and MOT preparations (MOT tester status is a bonus).
- Provide expert advice on repair options while ensuring outstanding customer service.
- Assist in developing and refining workshop processes and operational standards.
- Work proactively to grow the business, delivering high-quality workmanship and fostering relationships within the local community.
- Operate diagnostic equipment, tools, and garage software effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a qualified mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a committed, close-knit team.
- A proactive mindset ready to contribute to shaping and growing a new garage.
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
