As their business continues to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and dedicated Vehicle Fitter to join the skilled assembly and testing team.
About the Role
As a Vehicle Fitter, you will be an essential part of the team responsible for assembling our state-of-the-art self-propelled vehicles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Mechanical assembly of vehicle and chassis components

Installation of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems

Confident use of hand, power, and air tools

Testing of complete machines to ensure top-quality performance
-
Adapting to unique customer specifications and machine configurations

Working with diesel engines and hydrostatic transmissions (knowledge desirable)
About You
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and pays close attention to detail. You’ll need:

Previous mechanical or assembly experience (essential)

Electrical knowledge (preferred)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good timekeeping and reliability

Ability to follow instructions and work to high standards

Basic personal tool kit (e.g. spanners, screwdrivers – specialist tools are provided)

Forklift and overhead crane experience (training can be provided)
