Job Description

Driver Hire Edinburgh West is looking for reliable and experienced Category B Van Drivers to work with a range of clients across West Edinburgh and West Lothian.

These flexible opportunities are ideal for drivers looking for occasional or part-time work that can fit around other commitments.

Assignments can vary depending on the client and may include:

  • Parcel and local deliveries
  • Furniture, paint and flower deliveries
  • Pharmacy and home-shopping deliveries

Please note: Duties will vary between assignments. Some positions may involve manual handling and heavy lifting, while others may be lighter work.

£13.00 per hour – holiday pay accrued
£14.57 per hour – holiday pay included

Driver Requirements

  • Full UK Category B driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
  • At least 1 year’s commercial driving experience
  • Maximum 6 penalty points, minor offences only
  • No IN, DD, DR or CD convictions
  • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
