Role:  Care & Support Worker (HCW)- Older People x4 posts

Salary: £11.15 – £11.56 per hour

Location: Calton, Glasgow G40 2RZ

Job type: Permanent /part-time 25.5 – 26.75 hours

Due to an increase in care hours, Trust has fantastic opportunities for 4 Care and Support Workers (Older People) to join our team based at 200 Abercromby Street, Calton. Contracts are available for between 25.5 and 26.75 hours per week.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment we will offer you: –

Competitive hourly rate of £11.15—£11.56 per hour

25.5- 26.75 hours per week on a 2 week rolling rota between 7.30am & 10pm

What we’re looking for in our Care & Support Workers:

Our housing care service at Calton provides housing support, personal care and a meals service. You’ll be working with our tenants to ensure that they receive the support and personal care identified in individual care plans, making it possible for our tenants to continue enjoying as much independent living as they’re able. It’ll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you’ll bring to this important role.

Care & Support Skills and Experience:

Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these. If you are successful in joining our team we can provide you with fantastic opportunities to develop your experience or enhance your career in social care and assist with your ongoing continued personal development.
