Job Description

Grade UE05: £29,588 – £33,951 per annum

SPHS / Usher Institute / Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit

Full time: 35 hours per week

Fixed term: 12 months (1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027)

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) within a large team delivering clinical trials which improve patient care and service delivery within the NHS. The post will involve working across a portfolio of studies and assisting in the operational delivery of them as part of a friendly and supportive team to ensure trials are delivered on time and to strict regulatory requirements. You will have at least one year’s experience in clinical trials or a relevant research environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure trials are delivered on time and meet strict regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in clinical trials or a relevant research environment.
• Knowledge of clinical trial operations and regulatory processes.
