Trainee Practice Nurse – Part Time – 3-4 days per week

Patient List Size: 18,000 Team: 7 Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 5 ANPs, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 CSW
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Practice Nurse to join our well-established, forward-thinking and supportive GP Practice, working 3-4 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to develop a career in Primary Care. Applications from experienced Practice Nurses are also welcomed and will be considered.
About Us
Logan Practice is a thriving training practice situated over Level 2 and 3 of the Houldsworth Centre, Wishaw. Our patient population is currently around 18,000 patients with mixed demographics, which will allow the successful candidate to experience a varied and diverse role. Our practice consists of 7 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GP’s, 5 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses, Clinical Support Worker, CPN, Mental Health Liaison Nurses, Link Worker, Occupational Therapy, Welfare Officer, Pharmacists, GPST, FY2, who are all supported by our experienced Patient Service Advisors, Administrative Team and Management Team.
As a well-established training practice, we are actively involved in the education and development of future clinicians. We regularly host GP Speciality Registrars, FY2 Doctors, and Medical Students from a number of universities, creating a dynamic, collaborative, and learning-focused environment.
Wishaw is situated 15 miles South East of Glasgow city centre on the edge of the beautiful Clyde Valley with excellent transport Link. Wishaw has a population of around 30,000.

What are we looking for:
- Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high quality patient care and willingness to learn and develop new clinical skills.
- Experience within General Practice clinical settings and/or prescribing would be desirable but is not essential for trainee applicants.
- An interest in chronic disease management and preventative healthcare, with full training and support provided as required.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and delivering patient centred care.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
