Are you looking to kickstart a rewarding career in high-precision engineering? Our client, a leading manufacturer within the aerospace sector, is seeking a Trainee NDT Inspector to join their Assembly team at their Glasgow facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, an interest in engineering or quality control, and a desire to develop specialist skills. You’ll receive full training across key Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, working towards achieving Level 2 NDT certification in line with NAS410/EN4179 aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out inspections using approved NDT methods

Interpret and evaluate results against established codes, standards, and specifications

Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain clear records

Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and customer requirements

Support continuous improvement while promoting a strong safety and quality culture

Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues

Maintain calibration and care of NDT equipment

Ability to follow technical instructions and work to high standards

Previous experience within engineering or manufacturing is beneficial but not essential
