Trainee Health Visitor (MSc/PGDip in Public Health)

Job Description

NHS Scotland invites applications for Trainee Health Visitor Posts and the MSc/PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) commencing September 2026. Trainees are paid at AfC Band 7 and supported to complete professional qualifications in SCPHN-HV.

The programme, funded by NHS Tayside, leads to both an academic award and professional registration. It includes a practice placement with supervision and a pathway to a substantive Health Visiting post on successful completion.
